This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, first or second processing, packing, deboning, stacking, and or labeling. Applicants must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.) Team Members who hold these positions must be willing to work in either cold, damp or hot, humid environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a plant tour. Applicants that do not show up on time for, tour, pre-employment drug test, post offer health assessment, orientation, or fail to reschedule any part of the pre-employment process unless arrangements are made in advance will not be considered further. Applicants that have a positive or adulterated drug screen or who are unable or refuse to give a sample will not be considered further and must wait a minimum of 6 months to reapply. Your application is only active for the current month in which you applied. You will need to reapply next month to have an active application and be considered for employment.
