Responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, shipment and production process of materials according to all established Company and regulatory policies and procedures. Also responsible for moving semi-trailers within our parking lot and occasionally driving routes on as as-needed basis.
? Ensures accurate and timely receipt and shipping of all materials following FIFO and potential freight claim and/or back order procedures, while
supporting all freight and safety policies.
? Receives and unloads inbound material; processes inbound shipments, stocks material, processes customer returns and notifies management of damaged
? When driving, conducts a thorough pre/post-trip inspection to prevent or identify potential issues.
? Accurately compares all shipping documentation to load information; notes, in writing, any overages, shortages or damages and communicates this to the
facility at time of delivery.
? Properly maintains driver?s log in accordance with FMCSA and Company requirements; reports hours of service for previous day to Company
operations on a daily basis.
? Effectively communicates with customers, Warehouse team, Customer Service, Supply Chain team and other DC staff, in addition to all other
internal customers. Accurately maintains shipping and receiving related information in MXP and associated systems.
? Utilizes internal communication methods, i.e. Gmail and Google Talk, to effectively communicate with CSRs, Supply Chain team, and other internal
? Maintains data integrity, i.e. POs, delivery manifests, etc. through efficient use of MXP.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Materials Handling and Management - Safe and efficient transport, delivery and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Ability to explain and identify hazardous materials, including knowledge of
proper transport, storage and shipping procedures.
Knowledge of methods, accepted practices and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of workers, environment and worksite.
Appropriately and consistently utilizes personal protective equipment required or recommended for use in the warehouse.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information
with high levels of accuracy.

- Transportation - Knowledge of all major means of transporting materials and goods to and from the customers and suppliers and associated safety
COMPUTER SKILLS Requires ability to learn internal database and software systems, i.e. MXP;
proficient with near-miss and MSDS, UPS, FedEx and dedicated Logistics
systems; Experience with Google sites, Gmail and Google Chrome preferred.
EDUCATION Required: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS Required: Current Class A CDL drivers license with the following
endorsements: general knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicle and
hazardous material. Prior forklift experience strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE Must be 25 years of age or older. Requires a minimum of 3 years related
experience in the operation of tractor/trailer equipment, preferably with
transporting hazardous materials; in addition to 2-3 years experience in a
warehouse environment, including experience with order picking, shipping,
receiving, inventory counts, pick/pack; knowledge and understanding of FIFO,
OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous material shipping.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently exposed to
toxic or caustic chemicals, and occasionally exposed to work near moving
mechanical parts. Moderate to heavy physical activity; regularly required to
stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms; required to walk, stoop,
kneel, crouch or crawl; may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.
The associate must lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. Specific vision abilities
required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus. The associate may be exposed to a wide
range of temperatures. The noise level is moderate to loud. Reasonable
accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to
perform essential functions.
EQUIPMENT USED Forklift, manual and electric pallet jack, drum dolly, floor scrubber, slitter and
other warehouse equipment; limited use of PC and/or laptop, copy/fax/scan
machine, telephone and other general office equipment.
