Newell Brands Operator Forklift in Neosho, Missouri

Position Title: Forklift Operator

Reports to: Brooks Williams

Location: Neosho DC

Job Duties:

  • Drives propane/electric powered industrial truck equipped with fork or clamp attachmentMust be able to move, lift, stack, & un-stack finished goods using a forkliftMoves loaded pallets and transports to designated areas/linesOperates forklift safely in tight spaces near and around pedestriansWill be responsible to operate all equipment in a safe mannerResponsible for maintaining equipment in clean, safe operating conditionRequired to inspect forklift daily and report any issues to the supervisor or leadRequired to perform all phases of job duties as established by managementMay perform other duties as directed by supervision (including operating a handheld scanner used in posting production)Required to follow all safety rules and proceduresRequired to follow all housekeeping rules and proceduresRequired to work regularly scheduled hours plus overtime as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school education or GED is not requiredAbility to follow written and verbal work instructionsGood Communication skills (written and verbal)Willingness and ability to learn and accept new responsibilitiesWillingness to work all scheduled work daysMust be able to work in a hot or cold environmentMust have valid state driver’s license and be able to pass a forklift operator's testMust be able to perform material handler's job as neededPrevious forklift experience preferred
