Premium Retail Services Inventory Coordinator in St. Louis, Missouri

Job overview:

As an Inventory Coordinator, you will assist in maintaining all client materials and products, the hand-off and organization of arriving shipments, and labeling and set-up of materials in their designated storage areas. Working with the inventory team and the receiving department, you will be responsible for ensuring all internal requests for information are responded to accordingly.

The Inventory Coordinatorposition relies on quick thinking, confident computer skills, and effective communication methods to ensure accurate and efficient organization of all client materials and products.

  • Reliable attendance necessary for adequate scheduling and coverage
  • Warehouse and distribution experience preferred
  • Solid reading, math and reasoning skills
  • Able to work independently, without constant supervision
  • Willing and capable of becoming forklift certified

*What you’ll do: *

  • Assist management on inventory-related billing solutions such as claim processing, feedback on documentation, forms
  • Maintain record keeping for ease of research/accounting
  • Ensure smooth flow of customer's orders; check accuracy on all orders processed and ensure materials and stocked and recorded based on the customers' expectations
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and management regarding inventory requirements
  • Responsibility for accurate reporting of inventory changes
  • Reportable situations include, but are not limited to: a change in property location, a return or trade-ins, an interdepartmental transfer, or if property is lost or stolen

*Your experience: *

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Two years’ warehouse experience
  • Must possess an understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time unassisted
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task with ease and strong analytical skills
  • Review back orders; take action to provide proper management of inventory
