Precision Castparts Corp. Shipping and Costing Coordinator in Wentzville, Missouri
Ensure the completion of Costing, Freight Scheduling, and Post Goods Issue (PGI) transactions in SAP for all orders shipping from the Wentzville Location. Coordinate with operations to ensure On-Time-Delivery by Scheduled Ship Date.
Cost, Coordinate Shipment, and PGI all orders on or by the due date.
Resolve all freight issues and utilize freight forwarders, customer designated carriers, and customer freight portals as necessary.
Manage any applicable customer owned inventory to ship as scheduled.
Update the Open Delivery Database with all appropriate order status, and monitor the database multiple times daily to ensure all orders due are accounted for.
Work with Operations to schedule freight based upon order completion time.
Drive On-Time-Delivery by scheduled date by tracking orders due and flagging operations for completion times.
Request release of all orders on Credit Hold, and track those than cannot be released to ensure shipment ASAP.
Maintain past due log, and provide weekly communication to site management of all late orders with reason codes.
Update the shipping log with all order information.
Work with Inside Sales Support team to resolve all customer freight issues.
Work with freight company representatives to resolve performance issues, and drive cost savings.
Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or Senior NASC Manager

Education and Experience
Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Prefer 2 years of related experience
Metals related background preferred, or a manufacturing background
Experience reading material specifications is desirable
Computer skills: MS Office Suite
SAP experience or knowledge
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
